Dh and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary last week. It was a busy day because it was also ollie's last day of preschool but I managed to get a decent meal on the table. The farmers market had beautiful asparagus, potatoes and cherry tomatoes. We had marinated portobello mushrooms on the grill and we also marinated (in balsamic vinegar) some thick slices of red onion and cherry tomatoes and grilled those too. I pan roasted the asparagus with garlic and lime juice and I also roasted the potatoes with lemon, garlic and dill. Then we just tried to arrange it all fancy on the plate. It was delicious - not bad for a rushed night!
